Adaline Pickering is mother to Elizabeth Reed both widowed Adaline had 12 children 6 living in 1910 both born in Ohio Elizabeth only married 2 years James Cyrus Pickering Jr. was born about June 1847, son of James Cyrus and Catherine Smith Pickering. He married Addieline "Addie" Ault (nee Taylor??) about 1873. Addieline was born July 21, 1852 in Belmont County, Ohio, daughter of Frederic and Susan Walters Ault. They had 12 children: Elizabeth, Clark W. (December 1877 - 1910), James Fred (July 1880 - 1945), Albert (September 1858), Stephen (January 1878). Granddaughter Lula Bowers (Mar 1881) James died July 31, 1918. Adaline died March 8, 1946. They are buried at Silent Home Cemetery in Reynoldsburg, Ohio. James H. Lyon. He married Lulu Anna Scott in Franklin County, Indiana on June 20, 1906. Lulu was born September 26, 1881 in Posey, Indiana, daughter of Seneca Logan and Anna Gertrude Spilman Scott. They had a son, Scott Calvin (August 18, 1912) Faye Marie Scott September 20, 1895 - 1982) In 1909 Calvin was Managing Editor of the Dayton Journal. In 1916, Calvin was a reporter for the Columbus Citizen. He traveled to Europe during World War I as a war correspondent. In 1926 Calvin was the Director of Publicity of the Ohio Paving Brick Manufacturer's Association. The Lyons lived at 192 South Cassady Avenue in Bexley. Calvin died in 1955.
